The project is about HfMDK music school, which is a classic - modern school and also has a dance department. The university’s central task is to train students to become professional and socially responsible artists, educators and scientists, both in the teaching of the arts as well as in scientific research.
The intensive personal, artistic and academic supervision of students, the combination of theory and practice, and the many cooperation projects between Departments and with external partners are the hallmark of the high quality education offered by the HfMDK’s three Departments and are what makes the HfMDK Frankfurt am Main a special place to study. After I did my researches, I found that it has an old-fashioned design, and it didn’t show the real image of the school’s mission.I found also that the future strategy of the school is to offer online courses and also to be known internationally, So I decided to do something more obvious and modern to reflect their strategy and mission. I tried to create a modern design and also to give a powerful, and a fresh touch since it’s a modern school, I took the old logo, it looks like a musical note and transform it in a modern way with few words to give an identity to this logo and also reflect the real image.
